We're preparing for three events this spring:
The Alabama Uke Fest, April 21-22, Lake Guntersville
The Senior Center Funfest & 24th Retirement Lifestyle EXPO, May 9 at 9 am at the Huntsville JAYCEE's building, and
Uke on the Mountain, May 27 at 1 p.m., Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville
March 31

March 29
Three songs that were initially proposed have been updated, and five songs have been added. A second temporary songbook is pending further changes. However, here is an Addendum contain the new and updated songs plus "Keep On The Sunny Side"(in all five keys).

"Yellow Submarine" has an unusual background. The Beatles wrote and performed the song in G but detuned their guitars down a half step. The recording, therefore, was in the key of Gb/F#. Take a look at the chords in Gb (6 flats):

Here are a dozen songs that have been proposed for these events (two of which are still pending and one additional song will be added). Except for "Keep On The Sunnyside", the song sheet for each song is in the key that we will perform. Songs that have been updated have a line through them.
