Alabama Ukulele Festival 2019 Home Page

Because of a rules change that limits Ukulele Groups to five songs, our playlist has been trimmed. These are the songs we will play at the Alabama Ukulele Festival (plus one alternate).

The group will be playing at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. We will be followed by the UkeQuestors at 10:30.

August 30^th Update

Keith Fukumitsu of the TVUC has completed the two-line reformat of The Alabama Uke Fest Singalong Book.

A separate web page has been created with links to individual song sheets in both the one-line and two-line formats, plus links to YouTube performances of these songs, and a few notes: The Alabama Uke Fest Singalong Book.

August 25^th Update

Keith has provided our versions of the two RSVP Ukesters songs and a version of Kirk Jones' Proud Mary music with chord diagrams and some added play notes.

August 16^th Update ï New

Changes have been made to two of the TVUC songs for Ukefest 19: "And I Love Her" (repositioned chords in the 7th line "a love like ours....") and "Anthem to Musabi" (changed the intro to the last 2 lines of the chorus and the ending to just a C G7 C///). For those of you who might need the full package of songs, it is TVUC Playlist UF19.

Also, Keith has updated Saturday's "Strumming In the Round" songs to change the ending of "All Shook Up" to match the UBA page. And, he has also converted the two play along songs for UBA to our format: Ukulele Band of Alabama Music-UF19-TVUC.
