songbooks. The first "real" songbook (Version 1) will be compiled when I finish
adding all of the #1 songs (US & UK) (8 more songs) plus provide an additional
key for any existing song that is now only in one key (9 songs).
These temporary songbooks are provided because an online group will be doing a
Beatles theme in a few weeks.

Beatles Songbook for February 1964
On Feb. 9, 1964, The Beatles first appeared live on American television during a broadcast of the Ed Sullivan Show. They would make televised appearances for three consecutive weeks plus they performed three concerts. Below is a collection of the 12 songs the Beatles performed in the US in the month of February, 1964.

Beatles Songbook for April 1964
The first two weeks of April, 1964, saw the Beatles set two Billboard Hot 100 chart records. On April 4th, the group held the top five songs on the Hot 100, and had 7 other songs on the chart. The following week, April 11th, the Beatles had 14 songs on the Hot 100. These two records would stand for over 50 years. To celebrate these accomplishments, the 14-song "The Beatles Songbook for April, 1964" is now available.
