Updates have been made to the Display and Print Editions of The Love Songs Theme Songbooks.

The contents of The "No Theme" Theme Songbook have been updated to exclude songs that are in other Themed Songbooks, and to add a few songs that got lost in the shuffle of paper and time. Separate Display and Print Editions have also been created.

April 11

A few corrections were made to a couple of songs in The Hawaii Theme, plus there are two new songs and updated songbooks. All songs have been linked and their history and YouTube links have been posted.

April 8

It has been one year since we starting doing the UkeQuestors using the Zoom application (our first Sunday was April 5, 2020). I compiled a list of all the songs in all of the songbooks that we've done so far. The totals are impressive.

All Zoom Jams Themes Songs & Songbooks (as of April 8, 2021):

Total = 22 Songbooks containing 961 Songs in 1,758 Pages
Total = 753 Songs, Excluding Duplicates (some songs appear in more than one Songbook)

This listing excludes Halloween and Christmas Songbooks.

By way of comparison, "All 'Zoom Jam' Songs – By Week – Through Week 28" (October 18, 2020):

Total Songs = 374

Since October 18, we added 379 songs to our repertoire.

I'm still chasing songs that were done but not including in a given week's Songbook because they didn't fit within the theme for that Sunday.

If anyone finds any errors or omissions, please let me know.

April 6

Web pages have been created for all themes; they're still a bit rough (no YouTube links, duplicates, etc), but it's a start. I don't know that they are complete and I'm still looking to complete all themes with songs that weren't included in the initial week or weeks that a given theme was being played by the group.

Please let me know if you see any omissions (or have additional nominations), or if you see any errors. Thanks!

With Valentine's Day coming up, it occurred to me that we needed a Songbook about love songs. So I went through my folders for the UkeQuestors and the Tennessee Valley Uke Club and retrieved all the songs that have "love" in the title of the song. My emphasis is on romantic love that is real or possible, and I excluded songs about lost love, religious love, and loving Christmas.

There is plenty of room for additions since there are many songs about romantic love that don't have love in the title, so please feel free to suggest additional songs that fit.

These are both for display; I will create versions for printing later.

January 17, 2021

A "No Theme" Songbook has been added, with a table of contents. This collection is the most likely to change as we find songs that have been added to our play lists that weren't within the theme of a specific week or during our "re-runs" weekends. Please let me know of any songs that should be added to this Songbook.

All Songbook tables of contents are likely to be edited for author, date and key of song, as time goes by.

Theme-specific songbooks have been added and are in addition to the Hawaiian, Halloween, Christmas, and "Broadway and the Movies" songbooks linked below. All of the Songbooks now have Tables of Contents. These Songbooks are not "closed," but can be added to at any time, so if you've got a song in mind that fits in one or more of these categories, please let me know.
