Word Processing Files
One size doesn't fit everyone - that is, we don't all have the same singing range. So that you can edit song sheets and transpose to a better key for you, the original word processing files are being added to the extent that I have them (they are not available for all songs).
My thanks to Keith Fukumitsu, a friend and the former leader of two groups that I play with in Huntsville, Ala., who has generously shared a significant number of word processing files that he created for those two groups.
My files were created using one of the Open Document-format programs; others were created using Microsoft Word. The default font is "Arial" although in some cases "Arial Unicode" is used. Some older files use the Courier font.
To transpose from one key to another, I use an app created for Open Document format files. Both "flavors" are supported: OpenOffice and LibreOffice. Both OpenOffice and LibreOffice are free as are the transposition apps. I have also used the transposition app created by Logue Music Services (it's also free).
When adding chord diagrams to song sheets, I currently use diagrams created by the Chordius program created by Jon Thysell (and I use partial chords in some cases). The current packages of diagrams that I've created are:

Since last September, I've been trying to locate all the word processing documents that I have for songs on this website (and I don't have them all). To date, I've found 5,200+ files, which are being posted today. I'm fairly certain that there are other word processing files that I haven't found but will continue the search.
Caution: these folders and compressed files contain every version of most songs, which means there's a lot here that is superfluous. My best advise is to check the dates on the files and start with the newest version. In recent months, however, I have only included the most recent files for each song.
Supported are Microsoft Word and Open Office formats.
These are the webpages that contain the files in each of the five folders:

'All Songs' - Word Processing.zip - This filename is a misnomer. All of the available files are not in this collection, only those that have been captured and placed in a special folder on my hard drive. Excluding special collections (Christmas, Halloween, Hawaiian Songs, etc.), the goal is to have all word processing files in a set of files (A-C, D-H, I-N, O-S, and T-Z).
